Mo' Money, Mo' Problems

We're settling into our new house slowly but surely.  We got it for a great deal and it's in a beautiful neighborhood, but it needs some work. First of all, the rooms are painted funky colors, like the previous owners were hyped on some crazy drugs. Our master bedroom is mint green, the baby's room is florescent yellow.  So, we called a pro painting company to see what it would cost for them to paint four of the rooms.  I figured maybe $100 a room. This dude looked me straight in my face and told me not $500, not $800, but $1100 to paint the rooms!! I think he was smoking the same stuff the previous owners were smoking. I asked Vic why he would even tell us a price like that, his reply, "We look like we've got the money in here!" Needless to say, we went to Home Depot to buy the paint so we could do it ourselves! So, folks I'm here to tell ya that the words of Biggie Smalls still live on today...mo' money, mo' problems!
