I Feel Good Today!!!

Well, it looked kinda touch-and-go for a minute, but I'm proud to say that I FINALLY feel like myself again today! I'm so excited, I can't even see straight. When you get sliced open, there's just really no telling if you'll ever be the same again.  Fortunately, after about a week, you do start to feel like yourself again. I can actually get out of the bed without help now! It's the small things that make the big difference.

Vic's completely exhausted from taking care of everybody in the house, he's such a sweetheart. The kids are doing great. Syd loves hard, so it's a full-time job keeping her off of the baby. Her new favorite phrase is, "hold the baby, hold the baby, hold the baby" which she proceeds to repeat until you let her...hold the baby! She's had a couple of moments when she needs extra love so she comes up and says, "hugs, hugs" and then I make sure to give her some undivided attention. Poor thing, it's gotta be a tough transition, but at least she won't remember it later! Isaiah's a little sweetie, he sleeps and poops 24/7. It's insane the amount of stuff that comes out of such a tiny little baby.  I've decided that I'm just gonna get a good breast pump because this nursing as a mom of two stuff is for the birds! At night, it's sweet and cute, but during the day the last thing I feel like is having a small person attached to me for 30-45 mins. at a stretch. I can't believe that I thought having one kid was tough though!  The newborn is the easy one to take care of, it's this crazy 2-year old that's running me into the ground, the chick is a party on wheels! But, at least I feel better now so I can keep up with her!
