We lost my Grandmother today. After bravely fighting cancer and lung disease, she peacefully went on to be with the Lord and my Grandfather, who left this earth about 10 years ago. She was an amazing woman and I'm most definitely the person that I am because of her. As a 1st grade teacher, she taught me the value of education. I'll never forget how she taught me how to read upside down during one of our visits back when I was little. Grandma was all about looking like a lady, she was never caught without her earrings and lipstick! Most importantly, she gifted me with the best mother I could ever dream of. She'll be in my heart forever, I praise God that I had such an amazing woman to learn from. May she rest in peace.
